Archiving
We take the preservation of the papers very seriously. In addition to being stored on a server at the University of Toronto, papers published in Theoretical Economics are permanently archived in the University of Toronto’s Institutional Archive T-Space. (The University of Toronto guarantees the permanence of this collection: see a letter from the Chief Librarian of the University of Toronto, Carole Moore.)
Dissemination
The journal content is widely disseminated.
The metadata of all published and forthcoming articles are submitted to RePEc, so that they are included in IDEAS, EconPapers, and Economic Theory News.
The journal is indexed by EconLit.
The journal is listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals, maintained by Lund University Libraries. This listing means that the journal should be listed in the catalog of your institution’s library (see for example the listing in the library of the University of Toronto). If the journal is not listed in the catalog of your institution’s library, we encourage you to request that it be listed.
The journal is listed also on the Economic Journals on the Web site.
Hard copy
Through 2009, we produced a hard copy of the four quarterly issues of the journal annually. Starting in 2010, a hard copy of every issue is produced and bundled with an issue of Econometrica.
